Thanks guys,
Yes, I am coming to the same conclusion that it may be an optical illusion having exhausted most avenues to go down??
This is a real basic rig of a detailed model I have made. I decided to strip all lights off it and make a box model to see if I could get to the bottom of the problem but I am still puzzled.
I am trying CS Easy Cam setup now exporting as a targa sequence to see if there is any difference.
The final output needs to be 25fps. Would outputting the render at 50fps out of Cinema 4D have any benefit?
Cheers,

Hi Dave,
I also took the brick texture off in the render thinking that this maybe be causing the illusion of stuttering due to the lines. However even without a texture is still seems to be jerky?
Its really puzzling?

Hi Dave,
Thanks for having a go with CS Tools easycam to try and rectify the camera problem. However I tried rendering your file and it still seems to stutter as it pans down the building?
Here is the file to have a look.I rendered it out as a quicktime, 25fps and an animation codec.
Any suggestions?

Hi Adam,
My aim was to add a Cinema 4D post effect such as “highlight” to my stars on my hat. The stars are on a material though. I know you can’t add an object buffer to a material but wondered if there was work around within C4D.

Hi Adam,
I am a little confused.
Once I have rendered out the white stars having put the texture in the luminance channel of the material.
I have then enabled Material luminance in the multipass render settings and rendered it out.
What do I do with the render to then apply the post effect? Are you talking about going into after effects or can it still be done in C4D?
Sorry for my lack of understanding.
Cheers,
Rich

Hi Adam,
Thanks for the prompt reply.
How could I achieve this with 2 renders?
How can I make only the stars render on there own if they are wrapped around the hat object.
I just tried applying a luminance channel with 100% white to the area around the stars thinking that might render out as an alpha. However the post effects could see it and the highlights went crazy.

Hi Adam,
Thanks so much for all the tips and pointing out what I should have noticed – the belt tags moving in the Z axis!!
My curtains are now a lot happier.
Thanks again,

Thanks Randy,
That worked a treat after tweaking a few of the points to get the right label shape.
I don’t suppose you have any ideas about my “champagne foil problems” in a slightly earlier thread do you? Still having problems with the shrink wrap effect.
Thanks again,
Rich
