    Hi,

I am having a problem with creating a label for the neck of my champagne bottle.

For the main label I simple created a plane and used the “wrap” deformer set to cylinder. This worked fine for the main label.

The neck label is proving difficult as the profile of the neck is cone shaped.

Any ideas anyone. Here is a jpeg showing an actual bottle and my c4d model.

    Cheers,

    Rich

Copy the bottle and delete all the polys you don’t need for your label and scale them up a tiny bit. Then apply your texture with alpha.

    Thanks Randy,

That worked a treat after tweaking a few of the points to get the right label shape.

I don’t suppose you have any ideas about my “champagne foil problems” in a slightly earlier thread do you? Still having problems with the shrink wrap effect.

    Thanks again,

    Rich
