“Split VOB Files” definitely was not checked.

Brilliant, Mike. A quick, simple, elegant solution. Shrink did, however, save the DVD as 47 VOB files, not one big one. But that’s great in this case because I need to work on the files one at a time anyway. Thanks so much.

This is a DVD I mastered in DVD Architect and had made from a glass master. (I lost the original files so need to get the program files off the DVD).

Yes, I did import the program with File | Import | DVD Camcorder Disc, which took about 3 hours. It didn’t import directly into Vegas but asked to save to a directory, which I did.

No, the files won’t play with any program because each file, like “VTS_06_1 (01)”, is only 1KB, so something is amiss. I’m importing again right now and will see what I get this time.

So with a DVD only production would it be safe to leave the default RGB 255 255 255 white and 0 0 0 black?

    Gary,

Do RGB parameters 235 235 235 white and 15 15 15 black apply to DVD productions as well or only to VHS?

Never mind, when I powered up this morning all worked fine. “When in doubt, reboot” sometimes does the trick!

X it is, thanks Gary. Do you have an idea of why the text events in the track above the 3D track are not showing?

I’ve positioned my arrows like I want using 3D Track Motion but now the text events on the track above do not appear. I tried making that track 3D also but that didn’t help. How do I get the text track to show?
