    You will not find a book that does this…

    There is virtually no books that cover illustrator for video… I mention a few key things in my book Photoshop CS for Nonlinear Editors and I know Mike Gondek has a chapter in his book.

    There are other good books on illustrator… but they don’t address video (Illustrator isn’t really for video anyways… anything you do will need to come through PS or AE to get cleaned up.)

    Newer versions of PS support layers at 16 bit

    You can work in 16, then take it into the edit at 10 bit….. To my knowledge… there are no 16 bit NLEs (please fill me in if any have info on new ones)

    2. build in 16 bit
    3. Edit in 10 bit
    4. Apply Blur to layer

    Turn color magement off whn doing video grtaphics

  • 1. Use Select color range command to select the color you want to keep.
    2. Inverse Selection
    3. Add A Hue Saturation adjustment layer
    4. Desaturate
    5. Touchup layer mask as needed.
