If they are sequentially numbered… you can import them in Image Ready into one document

It was part of upgrading your OS (I am guessing you are on mac and went 10.3>10.4 or soemthingliek that with a clean install).
Easiest thingto do is back up your filters and presets fodler… reinstall PS.. and move your custom stuff back to get the sytsyem extensions installed

File>Automate>Crop and Straighten is the command.. you can scanmultiple at once that run that command to sepearate them into individual docuemnts

Touch strips are nice…
But… you can always add the “partner” I think that’s what they call it to the smaller monitor

You’re welcome… check out my book for more on blend modes and don’t forget you can access them in filters right after running the filter by choosing Edit>Fade (must be next step)

Well you have had to pay for it… the driver and software development was just part of the cost of the scanner. Vue Scan is a good product.. and the guy who makes it delivers on what it promises… it’s also his way of making a living.
I expect to pay for things that I use…
Your choices are buy a modern scanner (and purhcase the software at teh same time)
or Buy a patch software.

Ummm No…
that’s not banding…
Banding is a limit of color… for example in 8 bit mode, you’ll often see it in gradients… It’s when there are not enough range of color to represent what the eye can see.
And your answer has NOTHING to do with his question and is full of misnformation.
Your understanding of Photoshop and how it handles files is incorrect.
