It used to be that I could double click on a .psd file…it would open CS and also open itself. Now, when I double click, it opens CS, but I have to manually navigate to the file thru the browser. Nothing changed…how can I get this operation functional again???

It was part of upgrading your OS (I am guessing you are on mac and went 10.3>10.4 or soemthingliek that with a clean install).

Easiest thingto do is back up your filters and presets fodler… reinstall PS.. and move your custom stuff back to get the sytsyem extensions installed
