After Effects is a compositor (you build up)
Then use an NLE to edit and build a timeline
YOu want to use an NLE (any will really do for this task) to get things synced to music, work out transition timings etc.
As far as uncompressed… no…. I render to the compression we are delivering in most cases and render alpha elements only as Lossless + Alpha.

Use PAthFinder palette

You could remove the effect, then use Copy and Paste Attributes to paste just he filters you want

I have a workaround for opening FCP projects in FCE
In FCP export an XML Level 1 file
then change the extension to .fce or .fcp (no ton computer now)
Drag it onto the FCE icon
An XML converter option opens and allows you to import the project
Relink media

PSCS3 Extended can open up the clip
You can then use cloning nd healing tools

Try clicking the checkbox in the top corner to apply the text

Make sure your other apps aren’t all hidden
Or try switchign to Finder then back before choosing hide
You can also use the minimize button

Click its name and change its settings or go to your templates and modify…
this is CLEARLY covered in the help menu

There are LOTS of factors….
But why are you RAM previewing to make a Movie (RENDER!)
