My text layer is not showing up!
I add the layer, type up the text, and hit the enter button on the number pad. It is the top layer, the text size is high, the opacity is at 100% and the color of the text is set so that it does not blend in with anything else. I turn all of the other layers off, and I still see nothing.
What might the problem be?

Try clicking the checkbox in the top corner to apply the text
