its just few animated strokes in 3d space with a camera movement. that 3d stroke can be made using VideoCopilot tutorial 3d stroke..

from two different groups? or in the same group…i imagine different otherise the answer is easy…and any 2 sides..or 2 specific sides…i mean…the animation engine might work for you..Tell us what your doing exactly…is the only way this works…i know

I dont think its as complicated as you think…in the first 10 seconds i see 3 stock footage clips of squares doing a bunch of rotations and a little unfolding at the start… then they are just masked out using simple shapes.. It really does not look like the animation was tailored for this specific presentation. But just the masks kept throughout the whole video and the way the blocks are set up on stage to give it more depth

nothing is bending…a 2.5 d layer is rotating. the whole image is an optical illusion with the alpha channel being the only part that is being animated
