Thanks for all the tips I havent edited on Premiere since V 6.5. Your right its not that bad and im getting very comfortable with Premiere CS5. I do have one issue/question though, I was editing a job I inserted some video from a clip no problem LATER in the project I wanted to take some other footage from that same clip but every time I tried the video inserted to the original part of the time line not where the cursor is now. Is that correct? or is there a setting I need to change? Bug?

Thanks guys for the info. Dont mean to complain but doesnt it seem like kind of a rounda bout way to do it? I mean if I have clips already in the time line that is. Well I can make this work thanks again.

Nice! thanks John I think that will work. Unfortunatly when I use the log and transfer tool with my raw theres only one audio option basicly audio or not and it says audio will be imported in stereo.

o.k. cool thanks. I got this to work on a “per clip” basis. is there a way to make a “global change”? So everytime I bring in a clip it will have the stereo pair unchecked and come out mixed?

I know I am not taking advantage of the MPE but I should still be able to get a 1 second “slide” right? Without the BM timeline I get great RT even in “full rez” I dont understand MB constantly says there cards just give a an output they dont do anything which if true then why is the computer MUCH faster without it? It definatly seems to be slowing something down.
