I appreciate your help on this, but when I couldn’t fix it I basically dumped everything and started over. It is a small training video, so it was not a big deal to do that. But now I can’t replicate the problem. Here’s what I’m thinking though. Perhaps it is a problem after I have uploaded the video from the camera. It is in an AVCHD file that I convert to AVI and import that into Sony Vegas. I then edit with the AVI format and replace with the AVCHD to render. So I’m still not sure what the settings should be to do that. Do I match the source or what?

So again, sadly I will display my level of expertise. When I double click on a clip I get an annoying blue Loop section highlighted. Drives me crazy as I have to go to the top and drag each of the little yellow triangles all the way to the beginning to “unhighlight” that section. What is the purpose of the blue Looped section and can I shut that feature off? Or do I need it and how do I use it?

I thought of that and may end up trying something along that line. The problem I have is that the credits are overlayed onto a transparent background as there is animation in the background so the still may not work. I figured there has to be a way to stop the motion at the end of the credits – like in the movies when “The End” shows up – or just dump the whole idea and do something with plain text.
