I need a quick answer. When adding end credits how do I make it stop on the last one for like maybe 5 seconds or so?

Try taking a still and add it to the end and lengthen it enough to add a fade if you want.

I thought of that and may end up trying something along that line. The problem I have is that the credits are overlayed onto a transparent background as there is animation in the background so the still may not work. I figured there has to be a way to stop the motion at the end of the credits – like in the movies when “The End” shows up – or just dump the whole idea and do something with plain text.

You could use a velocity envelope to slow it down to a freeze frame at the end – if you’re on Vegas Pro.
