    I understand this in CAD, but not so much with Movie Studio 11. I am having trouble lining up a clip to an exact point on the soundtrack. Would this help or what would I use? How else do I use this feature?

    I usually drop a marker on the timeline and then snap to that.
    Delete it when you no longer need it.

    Put your cursor on the desired location and press the m key.
    Right-click it for more options afterward.
