Sorry, I should have been more specific, but its not a motion tracking problem, as the shot is stand still.
Just something about how my comp is moving via key frames looks different from the actual footage. I don’t know if its a interlace thing, or more if it just needs more motion blur or something.
Its not that my comp is not moving with the footage. Its more that the movement that comes from the key frames just looks a little different from movement in the footage.
Hope that clarifies it a bit more. Thanks again.

I would say your best bet is to duplicated the footage, then roto out what you want to be in focus. Then apply the blur effect to the background layer.

A lot of the time I will take a video file that has some grain you like on it, then use the “Match Grain” on a adjustment layer.

Just motion tracking, and a lot of 3D layers. =D

Of course.
Sounds like your very new to After Effects.
You want to mask your video with the pen tool. Basically you will position the video over your image, then trace with the pen tool the edges of the speech bubble. Have not watched it, but this will probably give you a better idea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G15FFYWWBRoGood luck!

Thanks for the info guys. I have tried a few different setting and it still seems like it is not really any faster then leaving the multi-frame off. Maybe I am expecting too much out of it.
The main thing that drives me crazy is how long that background process takes. It’s really annoying. Have not figured what I can tweak that effects that. Hmmmmmm….

Do you have an example by chance? Not completely sure what the effect is you are trying to achieve.
