That means that your MacOS system needs dome maintenance.
First, re-launch the Finder.
If that doesn’t works try repairing Permissions.
If that doesn’t works, run DiskWarrior or TechTools.

Right.
There is not any kind of transcoding/processing. The original video/audio info is re-packed in a new QT “container” instead of the MXF.

That should be the way to go.

That “iOrg..” converter doesn’t looks much professional, and if is unable of dealing with the audio, is proving that is not an option for production.

That question have been asked MANY times on this forum and this is the first the first positive answer I’ve read. In 10 years I’ve never paid attention to that option.

Try this: Click de HD icon on your finder and Cmd-I to open the Info window.
Down, check the “Ignore ownership on this volume” window.

Sorry, but that’s impossible.
Whatever you put on a time-line will be rendered to the sequence setting, unless already match the sequence settings.

Select all the stuff in the sequence (1920×1080), and left-click > Remove Attributes: Basic Motion + Distort.
