I’ve been having a look to the manual (https://www.grassvalley.com/docs/Manuals/iddr/turbo/071-8401-01.pdf), and although states that imports QT files, it doesn’t mention which codecs supports. but being a device with a few years already in the market, is very possible that can’t manage the last QT supported codecs (H264, Prores,..).
In the page 21, the manual says that the device internally records MPEG-2/LGOP (4/8/12/15Mbps).
In the page 98, it says that imports MPEG-2 Program Stream/MPEG Layer2 Audio.
Personally, better than a QT Animation, I would try the MPEG-2 Program Stream option.
You can do it in Compressor.
[Peggy Davis] “I will also be making a DVD for a backup.
The file is 16:9 but the screen is 4:3. pixel to pixel the screen is 630×480.”
That’s not standard size for DVDs.
720×480 NTSC pixels, is the size.
