Just like CONTROL/APPLE + ‘A’ selects all tracks,
CONTROL/APPLE + SHIFT + ‘A’ deselects all tracks.
Do this first, then select the track you want to activate. -
Anything over your visible monitor screen size (i.e. HD) needs to be rendered in pIllusionRender (which should have installed with pI).
Just save your project in pI, open pIllusionRender, set your settings and export. -
No worries, wasn’t sure if BCC3 had it.

Not sure what’s in that version, but to be honest, I’d download the 3week free trail version on Sapphire v3, which has a TVDamage effect in it.
Reverse your footage with a Timewarp, and apply the effect. It will have more parameters then you need, but you should be able to get a really good effect, and it’s free. -

Actually there is a way.
Someone wrote a little program called Hide Desktop that does just this.
You can even pick the background colour.
It’s in German and Free, but I can’t seem to find the website where I got it.
Happy to forward it to anyone who wants it. -
Whenever I’ve had the error your descibing, I”ve either not had the TC above the monitor set to the correct one (i.e. Master) – as detailed above – or I’ve pressed the normal RETURN key on the keyboard, and not the ENTER key on the Numeric keypad. Has to be the ENTER key.
I know you said that you pressed ENTER, but a lot of people use these two keys as the same – and apart from this one instance on Avid, they are. -
If memory serves, you have to press the Enter key NOT Return key for it to work.

You can download it from the website, under Downloads, then Free Apps.
Though it should automatically install when you purchase the software.
Then when you launch it, press ‘S’ and a search box will appear that will scan all the libraries on your system.
