Does anyone know where I can now get a copy of this?
Tried the link from this website – which no longer works.
Tried Renderosity – which says it no longer stocks it.
And can’t find anything called CG Auction Store.

    Thanks,

Look under the Video Tutorials to find out how to make an Emitter from Scratch.
Or else, save yourself a whole load of time and look at the Pro Emitters libaries you can buy. There are lots of great blood splatters in there.

Without actually knowing what your issue is, it’s hard to tell.
For the purpose of this question I guess you only need to be concerned with V1 and V2 (as V3 and V4 will simply adjust all that’s underneath). And, you have indeed set it up correctly.
You don’t say if you are having problems drawing a shape, or, when you draw a shape the result is not what you expect.
If it’s the latter, I’m guessing that you’re are getting the opposite of what you want. For a simple answer, swop the shots around (V1 and V2), and apply the same animatee effect you had back onto V2 (obviously, as before, leave V1 without any effect).
Hope this solves your issue. If you need advice on drawing a shape, you should really take a look at the Help.

Great tut on the Image (I also liked the library a lot). Hopefully get to use it on something spooky soon.

  • I know exactly what you mean, Craig. Drives me crazy whenever I have to go on a Mac – always accidentally exporting things to the desktop! – luckily someone wrote a little program that literally hides the desktop with a plain background – you can pick the colour. I think it was a guy in Germany (feel bad I can’t remember what his name is).
Can’t find the link, so email me and I’ll send it ya.

Incidentally, thus was in the v3.1 Read Me…
‘QuickTime 7.4.5 and 7.5 causes washed out video if you use Motion JPEG-B, Avid
recommends that you use the Avid codecs when using these versions of QuickTime.’
