Looks like interesting, eDVD is pretty good, but if this new software passes the tests, many clients will be very happy not to have to install anything!!

I also use a Blackmagik card (HD 4:2:2). I know 7 frames is a lot. it was usually set to 4, but for my last project, I needed 7, and for the other one, 5. I’m also thinking that my deck is going wrong and I don’t want to imagine the cost of repairing it!

    Thanks!

Just output a mpeg2 with Compressor, the tech will probably read it with a mpeg2 reader. Or he meant a muxed file (Compressor 1 can’t do that), so you can create a simple DVD with DVDSP and rename .VOB file that represents your track to .m2v or .mpg.

December 12, 2005 at 5:23 pm in reply to: DDP Image on DVD-R

What problem do they report ? What type of error ? Did you try to send them a DVD-Video instead of DDP ? If you burned your DDP image the same way for germany, it should work. But you mentionned CSS, if I remember, you need “Authoring” DVD-R media to use it, maybe…

Use good brand media and burn at lower speed (DVDSP always burn at the highest).
