That’s what I did . I used easy set up.
I’ll try again.
But I’ve never removed the pulldown. How is that done?

I just flipped it within the WIREFRAME and litterally just dragged the image around until it was right side up. When I play back the footage I see bad interlace lines going across the image horizontally?

Actually the “USB” light on top of the P2 store has never gone ON..as indicated in the “engineering Bulletin” on the Panasonic website here: https://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=94262&catGroupId=14595&surfModel=AJ-PCS060G&displayTab=R

This AJA convertor has been recommended. It looks like it converts HD Analog to HD-SDI.

So it would look like this?

HVX Analog component out> to:
AJA HD10A analog component in> to:
Something that will take the AJA’s HD-SDI?
Another convertor???

I’m going in circles and it keeps getting more expensive.

I’m not sure? I think with the proper convertor you can use an LCD directly as a monitor.
I’m confused with that issue?

So is the HD analog component on the HVX used just for MONITORING and not for RECORDING.
