Once you have your standard screen sized established, ie 1920×1080 or 1280×720… whatever that is… you can add in your smaller footage and enlarge the same footage behind it with a slight blur effect.

    Just a thought.

Thanks for your reply. Can you recommend a broadcast monitor and a good consumer TV monitor.

Is there anything in the consumer line that you can calibrate to color bars from your computer?

    Thanks!

Well… I hit the Freeze Roto button before I rendered, that seemed to fix it.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks!

It is very possible that I changed the duration of the nested sequence, but what I did to fix it is… I just CUT the BLACK LINED area out and trimmed it back together again. It seemed to work. I now see my cameras in my multi-cam window.

    Thanks for the info!

Transitioning from FCP, now editing in CS6… So far, I think I like it… just need to bump up the hardware a little!

Did you ever get an answer to this? I have the same problem. Thanks!

It’s like doing remodling in a house, once you tear out a wall you find other problems that need to be fixed. I thought I had to go to MAC OS 10.7 but then I found this:

This is the minimum from the Quadro website

Mac OS x 10.6.5 or later with
    MacPro3,1 (Early 2008), MacPro4,1
    (Early 2009) or MacPro5,1 (Mid-2010)
    Microsoft Windows through Boot Cam

From what I am hearing, the Quadro 4000 for MAC should make your system sing. If you are running off of local drives you should be good to go.

I am running through a fibre channel card that is running to a server at least 100 yards away – I really don’t know the exact distance but I am on the at least 6 floors above our main media servers.

For someone using local drives, I would think that the 4000 would be amazing!

I just did more research and I was wondering about the 4000. Is the 4800 an older card? After doing the research, I am thinking the 4000 is the better card for me.

    Thanks for your reply!

Thanks so much – that really helps. Do you by chance have the rest of the Dancing Bottle Tutorial?

I really like have the option of moving in close up to characters with a camera. This one project I am working on I have several illustrations of boys and girls and I was hoping to make some seem-less transitions, for example, I need to show them growing up over time, so i was going to zoom into the eyes and then when I zoom out, the character is bigger.

I may change my mind and do something else… maybe a star wipe (JK)

    Thanks for your time.

Did you check the box “continuously rasterize” in the timeline?
