    Hello all,

I’m going to be editing a “launch” video for quite a big client.

They have had editing done for them in the past, and want some old edits pieced together into another reel.

The video files that I have received so far have been absolutely minuscule so I really need to try and get much higher res versions.

My main problem lies with the fact that all the different videos are in different shapes and sizes. I don’t know how I’m going to edit them together without letter-boxing changing in between shots. I’m sure I’m not the first person to have encountered this problem – does anyone have any tips about techniques for doing something like this?

    Many thanks,
    Jonnie.

Once you have your standard screen sized established, ie 1920×1080 or 1280×720… whatever that is… you can add in your smaller footage and enlarge the same footage behind it with a slight blur effect.

    Just a thought.
