Select all the items in the bin then, under the project menu select “Link media” and once it finds one it will try to find the rest based on the original relative paths and is generally quite good if the organization of the clips stayed the same.
You can select as many clips as you want at once, or all of them.

Hi there,
I don’t believe the MainConcept H.264/MPEG-4 Encoders out of Premiere or AME can do anything less than 10fps. Even if you were to setup a Sequence at 2 fps…
How were you able to setup AME/Export for 2fps?
AE on the other hand can (and is often used) to render out all sorts of weirdness. 😉
It doesn’t mean you did anything wrong, just asking the question. 😉

A Kona LHi and KLHi breakout box arrived today as a replacement for the MXO2 with MAX in our “big” room.
What a breath of fresh air. We get full-speed, full-res playback of 1080p content off the Premiere timeline and the kind of performance we’d wanted from Matrox but never got.
Sure, we’ll have to do without MAX, but on our two most recent workstations, we could outpace MAX with Media Encoder anyway and we didn’t like sending out MOV files to clients on Windows.
It’s early days yet, but at least the VTR Exchange application is miles and miles more useful (and more reliable) than the Matrox Vetura capture utility and produces correct/non-broken 23.98 files from 23.98PsF sources. The “Classic Control Panel” is also much more useful and straightforward than the Matrox System Preference pane in my humble, but oh-so-tired-of-the-MXO2 opinion. Having a snapshot of the IO setup and formats is very useful.
The only downside we’ve discovered so far is that for all the fun we made of Matrox including a paltry 1m cable with its unit, the 5m KLHI tether is $250! Oh well, it’s worth the pain and the cables that shipped with the unit fit, just barely, in our current setup.

Hi Joey,
The user account which suffered the issue was a new account for a new hire. It happened about two weeks after her account was created. We realized there was an issue when we tried to archive it before deleting it; the operations wouldn’t complete.
The OS install on that machine was new as well as we had upgraded the main boot disk to an SSD drive so in all ways it was a “new” machine as well.
Since we don’t store any company/project/client info in individual user accounts (and do keep backups) it wasn’t a big deal in our case and the account has been fine ever since it was “re-created.”

We had an issue last month where Premiere would crash consistently and repeatably every time.
We cleared preferences, reinstalled, to no avail. It would work until an attempt to save; at which point it would crash and then crash on startup thereafter.
The only way we found to solve this issue was to (oddly enough), delete the user account and create a new one.
I’m not sharing this because I believe it’s some serious issue, but rather a fluke that we did find a solution for. It became clear the error wasn’t with Premiere at all; but the user account had somehow become completely corrupted.
We’d seen this issue once a few years earlier where a control surface would crash an application (DAW app) and we had to create a new user account to fix it.
I hope you find a solution! These issues can be maddening sometimes. Before going to the extreme I mention above, have you cleared the preferences and/or reinstalled Premiere?

ATTO is correct regarding the temperature possibilities:
100 – temperature is a possible SMART temp readout format. (This would however, put your drives below zero.) Having said that we get similar readings from WD RE drives on our R680. I wouldn’t pay much attention to smart … it’s often useless, we’ve seen disks fail that were reporting nothing but “in the clear” with SMART. Enclosure temperatures are a much better signpost in my very humble (and not so experienced) opinion.

This is funny, I opened up a project today (that was working fine yesterday) and received a similar, but different error:

Thankfully ATTO uses a very consistent naming scheme so I found the link to the last version, swapped out the name for the current version and there you have it… right from them. 🙂
