I know that FCP & Motion is a large part of my life, but I do other things as well!
I will try some bechmark tests as above on Sunday.
Also the question about plugins above does not apply to plugins written with FXPlug or whatever its called – Graeme’s filters being one example.
AE filters are meant not to work, but again Imight try running sapphire within Motion andd see what happens 😉Peter

I will do some tests on Motion compared to my dual G5 with the beefy NVidia, but initial feelings is FAST!

Yes, but my copy worked without entering a number as I had tried to install Motion on my MBP already.
This might mean you could have two copies running 😉I will check the two licence numbers

Not to state the obvious, but this is a real ‘narrowing down’ of your potential clients for Sapphire.
Could sapphire be re-written to use the graphics card?

That is using a line with points as an emitter of 1’s & 0’s
