It looks like FCP on Mac Intell currently doesn’t support any AE plug-ins. We hope Apple will resolve this, but they have not said what their future plans are for this.

Not to state the obvious, but this is a real ‘narrowing down’ of your potential clients for Sapphire.

Could sapphire be re-written to use the graphics card?
Not an easy or quick task I know

Yeah, we are looking at various options, but easiest and quickest would be if Apple would support AE plug-ins as usual recompiled as universal binary for compatibility and possibly a nice speedup…
