deinterlacing and artifacts
Hello there,
I am working on a car test tv show.It is shoot on a HDV and scaled to PAL.The director wants to have the fast moving cars footage deinterlaced and he is not satisfied with a deinterlace set to merge fields because he it produces blurry picture.He wants to have a sharp picture like if you see only one field. If I set deinterlace to even or odd, it is only half of a picture is it?
So- how can I solve this? Is there any plugin for FCP, final touch, combustion, shake or after effects that can solve this?

Yes, drop motion blur to zero, or close to zero should give what you want.

Mr. Wiggins, I have a question you might be able to answer, what is that elongated egg shaped building in London with the diagonal strips?
And why were the British/English wearing that flower on their cloths for such a long time, what was that flower?
