  • I know this message from wrong tiff or targa footage
Saving the file in photoshop again, normaly does the trick.
I only don’t understand why you say “exporting the project”
Do you mean “render a movie”? (apple-m)

H246 is to send in an e-mail, it affects the colors a lot.
Animation is good but not perfect,
Photojpeg I don’t know, but it is compression.
If you need to rerender everything later, you should consider
none, or no compression, If the movies go to Final cut,
uncompressed 8/10 bits is a good option.
(Sounds like no compression, but it is compressed; it’s half the size of no compression)
I don’t know how much you have to do, but firewire discs go very cheap these days…

HDV is like Mpeg2, it uses groups of pictures.
If you want to mess with time in your HDV footage
you should capture it with Apple intermediate codec,
    that saves your footage frame by frame;
It uses a lot of disk-space though. If you have a lot of material
and you’re not playing with the speed of your footage,
native HDV (what comes out of the camara) is about as good.

If you select in the right order, that is, from up to down, the order doesn’t change while pasting.

    something strange…
working on a mac pro and I was waiting for the right codecs
because installing didn’t seem to make codecs available in QT.
playing around duplicated the codecs from :Library/Quicktime into :System/Library/Quicktime
and suddenly they work from within Quicktime and After Effects, Exporting and reading!!!
    Isn’t that weird?
