Copying layers between compositions
dudes, i wanna copy more than 30 layers from a composition to another. my problem is that it changes the layer order. moving back to the right places is a pain in the a.s, so i wonder if maybe there is a solution for that and even a reason why AE does this way. thanks a lot in advance!

I would create a Duplicate of the Comp, then delete the elements I don’t need. Go into the Project area where your layers are, select the comp you want the layers from, then hit CTRL-D. This will make a perfect duplicate of your comp. Open it, then delete the layers you don’t want.

If you select in the right order, that is, from up to down, the order doesn’t change while pasting.
