    I went with the OWC 3G in a drive bay. Installation shortly. Any advice is welcome.

    Thanks for the reinforcement and the tips. I’d add an SSD for cache, hell I’d add an SSD for they system disc, but I don’t have any SSDs and I have lots of hard drive so I partitioned a 1TB drive 70/30 for User Files and Cache respectively.

    Installing 5th drive today, then following your instructions.

    Have you tried submitting a still to https://www.whatfontis.com or https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/ ?

    I use them all the time and they are real time, on line font identifiers. It helps to upload a clear example for them to process, but likely you’ll have your font and/or several choices in seconds.

    We used a AJA Kai Pro and my idiot DP sent TC to it so I never saw more than 20 seconds before freaking out and leaving the studio after the whole day went down the toilet.

    My solution probably won’t help you. About a year ago, I upgraded from 10.6 to 10.7 and kept the 10.6 system drive on a shelf. So I reinstalled it, moving by system back to 10.6.8 and the P2 files on my raid were no longer locked. It was a one in a million shot but it worked. Afterwards I put my 10.7 system drive back and the problem has never recurred.
