You can just change the extension to DPX after rendering or in the render queue itself. If you need to copy header info from an original DPX you would need to use a program like Shake.

Try right clicking the footage in the project window and choosing Interpret footage>main. Then set separate fields to off (AE mistakenly thinks your footage is interlaced).

dpx or cineons will probably give you as good a key as you could hope to get because they effectively keep all the info that was in the original negative.

Hi Buijon, if you work in 32 bit you will be able to get excellent photoreal glows by playing arond with blurs and the add blending mode. Make sure the brightness value of the thing you are blurring is at least 2.

Hi again, I just though of another way. Precompose the 24 bit image and the alpha layer luma matted above it, then in the main comp apply the effect: channel>Remove colour matting, to the comp containing these 2 layers.

Hi Michael, render your 24 bit file out straight not premultiplied (which is the default) and it will work fine.

Hi you can use an instance of the cornerpin effect to nudge the corner that is off back into place. Use as few keyframes as possible.
