While we can’t really speak publicly in detail about on-going internal development projects, what I can tell you is that we are busy porting the code to make Graffiti available in Adobe CS5 64 bit applications. I can also tell you that we expect it will become available this side of the summer and that you and all other Graffiti users are going to be very pleased with the resulting product.

Well the short answer is that the video card on your system is not included in the filters internal list of graced video cards.

Basically, the software is warning you that some filters, such as those that use hardware rendering, ie, rendering on the video card, may not render the expected result. It is also providing you with the option to press yes to continue and work with the software, or not.

Most of the time this error message can be safely ignored and you should be able to work with the filters and render the expected result without any problem. If, however, you see problems with filters from the OpenGL category or the 3D Objects category then this is most likely the reason why.

Hi Howard,

Using the preset chooChoo as a reference:

• create a new shape
• set the face of the new shape to the graphic that you want to use
• drag the new shape with the imported graphic onto the face of the track titled “Wedge”

Following along with Boris’s suggestion, you might want to try dragging the Color Correction filter so that it is placed between the Face track and the Corner Pin filter. If this does not isolate the color correction to one track then please feel free to save the settings file and send that to me (peterm@borisfx.com) and I’ll figure it out for you.

I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t find the effects useful – thanks for trying them though.

You didn’t mention exactly which Boris FX product you had installed into Sony Vegas but if it was Boris Continuum Complete (BCC) then you can remove it using the Add / Remove programs function. It appears in the Add or Remove Programs list as BCC 7 OFX – select it and you should be able to remove this safely from your system.

Hi Matt,

If you import a layered photoshop psd or illustrator .ai or eps file into Graffiti, you can use the Convert to Container function to break the file out into it’s individual layer components and enable or disable any of the layers.

You can download the software here:

On that page just select the host and scroll down to the unit that you need and click on free trial.

Again, you need separate installers for Adobe CS5, Adobe CS4, Apple FCP. So if you need the software in all 3 hosts, that’s 3 separate downloads from the site and 3 separate installations.

Hi Nick,

Are you sure that you downloaded the correct version of the BCC installer for your target host applications? For FCP you need to download and install BCC 7 FxPlug, for Adobe there are two installers, for CS5 you need the BCC 7 AE CS5 installer and for CS4 or below you need to use the BCC 7 AE CS4 installer.

Hi Norman,

To make the text follow a circular path, go to the PATH group of controls and select Circle from the Path Type pop-up. Then you can use the On Path Position parameter in this group of controls to animate the text around the circle.
