I don’t know of any issues with the Cambria font and Boris RED – it’s possible that the font may have become damaged and that RED is having a difficult time reading it. Whatever the case may be, I’d like to suggest that you get in touch with someone in our support department, who would be happy to assist you in resolving this issue. Well to answer your question, I guess it really depends on what you are doing. Herewith is a brief description of the products:
• BCC 8 includes over 200 2D and 3D special effects and Titling filters, all of which utilize the host native user interface, which means that you are up and running with the filters without having to learn a new UI set up. Many of the filters that are included with BCC 8 use the After Effects 3D cameras and lights, which enable the generation of true 3D scenes. All of the filters are MP enabled, some render in hardware using OpenGL with vertex and pixel shaders and all feature state of the art algorithms. Each of the filters comes with factory installed user customizable static and animated presets.
• RED 5 is a compositing application that can be used either as a plug-in or as a standalone compositor. It excels at the generation of 2D and 3D titles and effects. It includes all of the BCC 7 filter effects as well as many compositing effects such as live vector text, vector paint, vector trace and extrude, motion tracking, auto-animation, spline masking etc etc. RED 5 has a custom user interface. RED includes a couple of thousand customizable factory installed preset templates.
• Blue is similar to RED in that it’s a plug-in compositing application, which can also be used as a standalone application, however Blue is 100 percent OpenGL hardware rendering so it’s easier and faster to generate and render 3D composites. Blue also has a custom interface. Blue also comes with factory installed preset templates to make the product easy to use and learn.

Currently, this is not a supported file format for import directly into the RED 5 Engine but I’ve added that to the feature request list.

Hi,
I’d suggest using the BCC Film Process filter for this look. Try this:
• Add BCC Film Process to the clip
• Select the preset “bleachBypass”
• Set Mix with Original parameter to a value of 40
• Open Post-process group
• Set Warm/Cool Balance parameter to a value of -30
• Set Warm/Cool Hue to -20
• Set Post Saturation to -75
• Set Post Brightness to -15This should generate a nice bronzed effect. Please let me know if this generates the result that you have in mind.

Hi,
Graffiti is limited to 1 track of video. If you need more video tracks you might want to consider adding Boris RED to your effects arsenal. RED has no limit to the number of video clips that you can add.
