  • Hold down the set button when you power on. The freqs should now be blinking allowing adjustment and hit set to finalise.

Erics right. Line level def from a mixing desk.
Either pad it down by 40db into your cameras mic inputs, or switch to line level and address the cabling issues.

And make sure the cameraman on c gets
The bill for the added post time

Thats basic stuff for an operator on a multicam shoot. Im presuming he was briefed by the director or someone in a post capacity NOT to stop recordings.

i think youll have to edit each of the cam c clips to the timeline manually.

re I don’t have much experience with .mts.
Id try an let it stay that way. its horrible.

what sort of camera. if its the panasonic id get the panasonic / main concept transfer software and convert mts to something like p2, and import via ama from that.

AVCHD in my experience is VERY slow to import.

Ids be surprised if that works to any useable standard (if at all)
People would noramll shoot sep sound and sync up later with that configuration. I reagrd the audio recording capabilities on stills cameras as none.

Id add, use omni directional personal mics, and point them DOWN. Youd be amazed at how much air comes out of peoples noses. This travels straight down and overloads the mics.. Make sure you put the mic on the lapel towards which the speaker will be leaned in conversation with the other.
