AVCHD Import- Spanned Clip Errors
New AE job,
We’re importing a lot of AVCHD footage from lipstick cams (.mts files). We do not have clip wrap, and it is a ton of footage each day. We are directly importing into Avid on 7 machines but continually get “this is not the first of a spanned clip” error, even when all files are selected. Anyone know a way around this?
Any assistance is much appreciated, I don’t have much experience with .mts.

Id try an let it stay that way. its horrible.what sort of camera. if its the panasonic id get the panasonic / main concept transfer software and convert mts to something like p2, and import via ama from that.
AVCHD in my experience is VERY slow to import.

We went the clipwrap route. Dealing with AVCHD in any form sucks in general
