September 19, 2012 at 10:31 pm in reply to: Cuda acceleration causes 6.0.2 to crash and glitch – Retina MacbookHi Guys,
nVidia and we are aware of this issue as noted. We recommend not switching between OpenCL and CUDA until this issue is resolved. If you continue to crash try setting the renderer to OpenCL save your Project and restart your computer.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi Rob,
You can choose what portions of the Timeline you want to export in 2 ways.
1. Adjust the Work Area Bar to the portion of the Timeline you want to export to.
2. Disable the Work Area Bar (from the Timelime panel fly-out menu) and set In and Out points to the portion of the Timeline you want to export to.
You can also assign different audio tracks to tracks on the deck. Try the following steps:
1. Create a new sequence – From the New Sequence dialog select the Tracks Tab
2. Within the Tracks tab, change Master from Stereo to Multichannel
3. Change the Track Type of all of the tracks needed from Standard to Adaptive – Click OK
4. From the Preferences menu select Audio Output Mapping
5. From the Map Output For pulldown menu choose>KONA 3 or whatever your card is
6. From there you can assign the appropriate audio tracksPremiere and AJA support up to 16 channels.
Hope this is helpful. Best,

September 13, 2012 at 12:05 am in reply to: Kona LHe + Premiere cs6 = a pain in my arseHi Todd,
Sorry to hear about your troubles. I have a few questions and some comments. First, what build of Premiere to you have installed? And what media type are you working with?
With the most up to dates AJA driver and plug ins I wouldn’t expect you to run into any delays at start and stop of playback.
As for the card switching to 525 this is a known issue and I just spoke with AJA and they said this will be resolved in the next build from them. For now, the workaround is to go into capture window, change focus to the control panel, set the correct format, then focus back on the capture window.
For your last item, with Transmit we no longer use third party players that it was playback settings is grayed out. A third party still has the option to create a player but most are opting for Tranmit. Now, you access the third party hardware from Preferences> Playback.
Hope that was helpful.Peter Garaway

Hi Ali,
Here’s a few options you can try.
#1
1. 1.In Adobe Premiere Pro, choose Help > Deactivate.
2.Sign out of your Creative Cloud account. To sign out in Adobe Application Manager, click your name in the upper-left corner then click Sign Out.
3.Launch Adobe Premiere Pro, which shows the trial screen. Sign in with a different Adobe ID than the one associated with your Creative Cloud purchase. You can create a different Adobe ID using a different email address.
#2
1.Deactivate
2.Uninstall CS6
3.Run Cleaner Tool https://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
4.Reinstall.Hope this helps. Best,

May 28, 2012 at 7:55 am in reply to: frame by frame moving a clip. Where did that shortcut go in CS6?Hi Goran,
This still works in CS6. It’s called Nudge Clip Selection. Cmd+Left will move the clip 1 frame. Shift+Cmd+Left will move the clip 5 frames.

Hi Aaron,
Premiere Pro only allows you to step forward/backward in 1 or 5 frame intervals via keyboard shortcuts.
A workaround would be using the numeric keypad, typing “+” or “-” keys to jump forward. For example +1.or +100 will move you forward one second down the timeline.
Hope this is helpful. Feel free to make a feature request @ https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
