Hi Morten,
When you say ‘Premiere CC does not accept it’ what do you mean exactly? Also how is it incorrectly rendering? What are the results your seeing and what were you expecting?
Lastly which driver do you have installed? 5.5.25?
Thanks,

Hi Steve,
I responded to your question on the Adobe forums as well but just in case others are looking for a answer here you go
Though I can’t speak to if/when the 7950 will be supported I can tell you (and you may already know this) that you can enable the Mercury Playback Engine with the 7950 in Premiere Pro CC. It won’t be enabled by default but you can simply change the renderer from Software to GPU in the general settings.
I’ll let others speak to the performance.
All the best,

Sorry there is no way to currently do this in Premiere. There’s been many users interested in this feature and many against it.
lease file a feature request if you want playback to behave like that:

Hi Reuben,
Sorry but there’s not keyboard shortcut to open a clip in the Source Monitor from the Timeline.
Please make a feature request here:
https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishformFYI you can open a clip in the Source Monitor from the Project panel and Media Browser by pressing Shift+Option

August 19, 2013 at 8:54 pm in reply to: Quick switch to PPro CC, any gotchas I should be aware of?Hi Steve,
You can refer to this post by Eric Bowen for guidance on RAM. I also agree you that you will be much much happier with a supported GPU in your system.
In Premiere Pro CC we greatly improved our performance with GoPro footage. There should be no need to convert. Also we have native support for XAVC with good performance up to 4k 23.97 (depending on the system). We also included native ProRes support for Mac OS 10.8 and newer.

Glad it was a simple fix;)
Not sure why that’s happening when your creating a sequence from clip. What frame rate is your P2 file? And what sequence settings is it creating?
