I’m looking for a way to select a clip in the timeline and open it in the source monitor all from the keyboard, I don’t mean match frame. Right now I have to double click with my mouse to get the clip to open in the source monitor and still have it be connected to the clip on the timeline. Is there a way to do it with keyboard shortcuts in PP_CC?

The workflow in FCP was: x (marks the clip), opt-A (selects the clip), Enter (opens in the viewer or in this case source monitor).

    Hi Reuben,

Sorry but there’s not keyboard shortcut to open a clip in the Source Monitor from the Timeline.

Please make a feature request here:

FYI you can open a clip in the Source Monitor from the Project panel and Media Browser by pressing Shift+Option
