Hey Brad,
Haven’t looked at your AJA capture issue yet but I wanted to let you know that Blackmagic released 10.9 drivers. Here’s the link: https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/support

Hi Brad,
Thanks for the update. I’ll look into that. Note that AJA hasn’t officially announced support for 10.9 with their current drivers.
Can you give me a little more info on your setup? Mac or Win? What your from capturing and to what format.
Thanks!

I think you may have gotten your answer on the Adobe forums but for others interested.
From Mark Mapes @ Adobe
Are all the tooltips still popping up, or are do most of them go away while others remain? I believe it’s by design that the following tooltip-esque popups remain: clip info in Timeline, marker info in the Timeline and the Source & Program monitors, Start/End/Duration when mouse pointer is over the beginning of the timebar in the Source or Program monitor.
Let us know if either you’re still seeing other tooltips or if you think the preference should hide all tooltips.Peter Garaway

Hi Mel,
A few questions. By drop out do you mean your external monitor receives no signal? Does this happen with both SDI and HDMI? What Mac OS are you running? Do you have a GPU?
I haven’t seen this myself. But I will take a look Monday to see if I can reproduce this issue.

It sounds like you already have this pretty well figured out but I thought I’d provide this link that defines Adjustment Layers in Premiere and also has some tutorials that may be helpful to you or others searching.

Hi Jon,
Sorry if you already called this out in an earlier post but did you select the Use Previews option in Adobe Media Encoder? Adobe Media Encoder does not automatically use Premiere Pro preview files for encoding.
To do this click on the Presets button in AME and check the ‘Use Previews’ option in the Export Settings dialog.
