With regards to the 60fps stuff, you’ll have to get it frame converted on the Panasonic black box or through FCP in software. PPro doesn’t handle the over/under Varicam cranking.

Did you ever get this fixed? (I would have thought so by now!) I’ve got the same problem with Premiere Pro 2.0.

I had a go with X64/PPro 2.0 and Decklink (which has 64-bit drivers) but I gave it away and went back to 32-bit a couple of weeks ago. The system was too unworkable in daily use, I had trouble getting components working and some software (32-bit) wouldn’t even load. I guess I’ll await Vista.

Im using the same Dell 9300 setup as Aanarav. They are great value. I use mainly for offline, but sometimes finished work. I’m thinking of replacing the 9300 when the 9400 starts shipping with the 7900GTX Go.

Hi Kristian,
I’ve been in touch with Matt since and I’ve decided to go back to 32-bit XP. I’m using a Giga-byte GA-1975X 975 mobo with 3.2 Intel D840. The weird thing is when I re-installed with 32-bit XP on the the very same hardware setup, it worked fine.

I can’t get a picture in or out on XP64. Anyone else with a 5.5 x64 issue? I’ve got a deadline in the morning. Ahhggg!

Thanks everyone. In the end I exported the main setero track as a single stereo export, re-imported then re-mapped as 2x mono. Not ideal but a workaround. You lose your clip separation on the audio but hopefully the client won’t chnage her mind. Ha!
