Thanks for your follow up explanation Adam. I understand now that you are looking for a different workflow than the one we have in Resolve today, maybe with a single page interface. We will keep that in mine when reviewing feature requests priorities for new development.

Hi, the different clip types may need different settings to get the reel name correct. Try setting the conform settings to get all the r3d conformed, the in the media pool, sort by codec to separate all the r3d, select another codec group of clips and go to clip attributes, change the reel name setting to get that codes clips conformed, repeat for each group.

Hi Adam, I think you need to work your way through the manual.

You can view clips in thumbnails, add the ones you want to a timeline, then in the colour page grade them. Even copy grades from one or two clips prior with a single keyboard shortcut, or copy from any clip.

You need to do this in the colour page as there are multiple ways and tools to grade so you need to have the correct one selected.

Then render the clips on the deliver page to ProRes. Use the FCP preset. All this detail is in the manual, including a tutorial. I can also recommend one of the many online classes available, such as Warrens on FXPHD.

Hi, can you download, again, v10.0.2 from the BMD support web site. Uninstall v9 then install v10.

Hi, please detail your system and what steps you are taking to generate the Lut.

  • We use the RED SDK, as everyone does, for r3d files. Other RAW images are debayered in GPU, then re-sized to the timeline res… where the image processing, inc temporal NR and speed changes, occurs.

So the GPU ram size and core count is important in many respects.

  • Double click should append a power grade, but open a still.

  • Odd, it may be an OS issue as we recommend 10.8.4 as min,

  • Hi, these are all operational issue that I feel you will solve by reading the manual in detail. There is much to learn and so i suggest you start with the tutorial project.

You can also purchase online training for v10 from a number of sources including FXPHD.

    Regards
