Unless you are doing only a certain type of videos, I don’t know saving any project is going to help. As you are just starting out to do for video editing as your work, don’t let pre-sets limit your creativity.
One big time saving thing you can do, however, is to organize your Media contents well for easy locating what you need. Renaming (especially audio), creating folders, subfolders and print out some fonts for quicker selection might help.Best wish.

Ok, as I stated before, the ctrl-mouse wheel only works in certain setup, I am not sure how and why? The view > Font size is disabled in this forum per designer, I guess. That’s why I am saying, why disable such a important feature? Some larger monitors’ fonts are just too small in this forum. They should design a web site that is dynamic to the fonts size, not to restrict that.$.02

Steve, that makes some sense now. But I recall in 1.5, if audio format matches the Project setting, there is no conform, no generating peak file business! I will give it a try later.

I transcoded to VBR, with min BR being 4, Max being 9 and target being 6. I would then use encore (all still in NTSC).

I do have to correct myself. I just looked at the footage I exported on the computer (pre encore) and it is reacting in the same, blurry many on those animations.
>> How do yo keyframe the slo-mo in PPro2? The slo mo by itself in 2 is not very smooth. But it shouldn’t be choopy all the way. If you have changed a speed in a key frame, the resulted change should be fairly smooth but the transition for the change may not. If it is choopy all the way, even viewing in your pc, then, we need to look into encoding issues.
Maybe it would be easier, Perry, to ask what the best practice is in animating video footage in the manner I described in my OP? Thank you for all the help, though!

What’s the bitrate for encoding? Have you tried on different DVD Players? How did you burn your DVDs? Seems a lot of questions, but DVDs authorization is an art (to sound nice).

Thanks as always. #1 I don’t recognize “Generating Peak File” in 1.5 and even with your explanation, I really don’t understand what it is for and why this is needed. Is this again in CS3? #2, Good suggestions, I will re-map my cache… directories.Sincerely,

Just FYI, one pc works but the other don’t. One has XP Pro, one has XP home; former has IE 7, later has IE6; former has MS Mouse, later has Micro Mouse… I can’t begin to figure what is the culprit. However, the bottom line is, looks like the author of this site lock the View fonts option.
