  • How to change the size of the fonts in this forum?

Posted by Perry Cheng on May 1, 2007 at 9:11 pm

I tried to endure it for the past few weeks, but, I am getting frustruating to not be able to make the fonts in this web site bigger. I tried the View > Text > Large or whatever, nothing changed. Is there a trick?

Hold down CTRL and move the mouse wheel. Works on any web page.

I’m on a Mac using 10.3.9 and neither of those suggestions work on the Firefox browser.

I’m on a Mac and Firefox.

Holding down Command (Apple) and the + key works like a champ.

Just FYI, one pc works but the other don’t. One has XP Pro, one has XP home; former has IE 7, later has IE6; former has MS Mouse, later has Micro Mouse… I can’t begin to figure what is the culprit. However, the bottom line is, looks like the author of this site lock the View fonts option.

It’s not the site. I can change the font size here in the forum in either IE or Firefox. I suspect it’s the mouse software on your second computer.

    Hi Doug,

I have a PC running windows XP and when I press the Ctrl key and move the wheel on the mouse, nothing happens. I really don’t need to change the font size, I was only experimenting. Nothing happens.

Thats because it a feature of the Mac OS. In OS X holding down control and using the mouse scroll douse a zoom of the entire screen.
