New projects in CS3 work just fine.

My issue is most likely because of PPro CS3 looking for Photoshop CS3. Does anyone know how to edit this behaviour, so as to make PPro CS3 look for Photoshop CS2 (which is what I use)…TIA!

Mike, I am aware of your suggestion, but thanks anyway. However, it bothers me when stuff doesn’t work the way it should. I tried a “repair” re-install of Photoshop, but it didn’t help. I hope it’s not a question of needing Photoshop CS3 for this, because I don’t have a need to upgrade this app.

I doubt that the use of SD is “vast” in the professional world.

This makes it pretty much a waste of time for testing…who the hell cares about SD anymore…

Valid point…so why not just make the upgrade the same price for both the new PPro 2 user and the old PPro 2 user?

This scenario is silly. Why not just make the PPro 2 to CS3 upgrade $199 instead of making people buy the PPro 2 upgrade at $199 to get a free upgrade to CS3? Alfred E Newman must work for Adobe and dreamed this one up!

Drag your cursor over the clips you want to move as a group to highlight them, then move them to the desired point on the timeline, then click an open area in the timeline to unhightlight them….done!

If you or a friend can build a PC yourself, this component list will do the trick for HD editing and cost well under $2000 buying online from reputatble sites like Newegg or Tiger Direct or a combination of both sites:
