wow, a lot more! I would be happy with one. but I would want a router panel for it too. absolutely. software routing is so 90’s / video toaster.
maybe something like a sierra video 16 x 16. maybe panja (sorry, i mean amx) could build one for us. for about 12 grand… -

I just opened the system prefs on one of our dlink extreme systems and if I select analog component in the video level sliders in the proc amp tab are totally active.
I can only surmise that a different control panel is installed witht the mbe.

ok-this might be a issue with the multibridge
we have 3 systems with decklink extreme cards. in the system preferences bmd control panel we have a third tab named proc amp which has been there for several years (yes we are on the latest everything on mac/fcp/bmd).
this is for adjusting input levels when capturing analog component.
I did a quick search on the bmd site and did not find any reference to it, although at one time it was a hot issue on the cow as there were inconsistent video levels from card to card during capture via anolog component.
I would repost as “component proc amp” or something and mention Kristian’s name in the post so he sees it for a quicker response.
fyi, I’ve never actually used the feature since we only capture sdi or composite analog. -
you can adjust ANALOG COMPONENT input via the bmd control panel. you cannot adjust SDI input, just as you cannot adjust dv input. digital signals come in exactly as they left the tape. this is the way it has always been.

yes the system prefs bmd panel.
there is a tab called “proc amp” which gives you gain sliders for component video capture.
I do notice that on my laptop that tab is not present (because there is no bmd hardware on the laptop obviously) so maybe you need to uninstall and reinstall your decklink drivers.
as for the controls in FCP, I have never seen those work from ver 1 on.
I think if you had an early analog Igniter card capturing mjpeg they were enabled. -
are you trying to use fcp input level sliders?
you need to use the ones in the BMD control panel -
