Also try using the CUDA / Nvidia un installer.
I don’t know man everything seems fine. I would uninstall and re install everything.
I had the 980 yosemite resolve light on a 5,1 3.3ghz 12 core and it was playing red 4k full premium real time.
You should get half good no problem.

Sounds like cuda isn’t installed. Check cuda z. Also you kept your 5770 I hope? You will still need it occasionally for installs etc

it is showing up in resolve though? download cuda-z for mac from sourceforge and see if you get data on all the pages, especially in performance/memory copy.
