In the Preview Area of the Project Bin it will display how many times the video/audio of a selected clip has been used. I don’t know of a way to select a clip in a bin and have it highlight on a timeline.

Actually you do get that behavior when adjusting the ins and outs for subclips and comment markers inside Prelude. I don’t mark a thing inside PPro. I start every Adobe job in Prelude.

    Yep. No problems there.

  • Just one thing to consider while putting together a workflow…make a copy of one of your .vob files and then change the extension to .mpg. You should be able to import it into PPro then, and you can do what you want. It’s worked for me everytime I had to pull dvd files into an edit. Might be helpful for you somewhere along the way.

This update dropped literally while I was on set for a new project. As the decks were already cleared for this one, I downloaded the whole kit and am diving in. Fortunately, this gig is not that time sensitive so I can afford a bug or two in the short term. So far so good.

The Preview Area will also show how many times the video & audio from a clip has been used when the clip is highlighted in the Project Bin.

You can make multiple subclips from a single clip in Prelude, name each one uniquely and batch export (literally select them all, pick a format and location then hit OK) them from there with the name you’ve given them. Of course, that would be cuts only. No FX.

Used the new Vimeo panel for PPro just this morning to send approvals. Very easy and just kept working on the next spot while that all went down.

    So I’m for them.
