Master to Pro Res (or DNxHD or Cineform), use the master to make h.264/.mp4 in Adobe Media Encoder, change the extension from .mp4 to .mov. It’ll be our little secret.
We (me and Adobe support) did clean installs of drivers going back a few versions and the problem persisted. I know the junk you’re talking about, and no we only did clean installs of the parts we needed. None of that Geforce game console crap is on here.
Select the clip in the Project Panel and hit G (for gain). Actually pretty much anywhere you select a clip and hit G you should be able to change the volume.
I master to Cineform 10-bit and upload that to Vimeo. No problems. Even Vimeo’s mp4s look good when the source is good. Vimeo takes Cineform and DNxHD/HR as well as Pro Res. You should take advantage of that.
Roll back. That’s all you can do. Uninstall and reinstall older version using CC app. Something not right with the PC installs. The mac installs went fine. No video apps (PPro, AE, AME or Prelude) working right on the PC side right now. Easy to fix with the rollback until they get this sorted.
10.13.3 seems to have finally sorted the CUDA thing on Apple’s end. Talking right web/gpu driver and right cuda driver versions. Up til now you could fix it getting the pieces separately from Nvidia.
