  • Easier way to extend markers?

Is there an easier way in Premiere to extend a marker? Now I’m having to double-click in the sequence, go to the Source window, option+click on the marker and then drag one side of it.

The biggest thing I’m lacking, that I had in FCP7, was the ability to set a marker, continue playing a clip until I found a good “out” point, then have the extended marker snap to that playhead. In Premiere it doesn’t want to do that. Is there a simpler way?

Markers work that way in Prelude where you can just hit O and it extends to the playhead even if it’s playing. Not in PPro.

Thanks. And those markers can then be exported to Premiere?

If I didn’t save the Prelude files I used when ingesting the footage, is there a way to import existing files into Prelude without having to re-render or transcode them?
