Did you uninstalled with FCS remover?
Try create a new admin user.

In your AJA control panel set analog input to COMPONENT.
Now it’s set to Y/C or Composite. That will give you black and white signal.
No mysteries here.

I love MOTU for their audio interfaces. That’s where they are good at.
The first test experience i had with a MOTU videoproduct and FCP was terrible
The unit mixed up PAL and NTSC framerates. Now that’s a bad start.Save yourself trouble and get a AJA, Blackmagic or Matrox solution.

A. all your clips are shot anamorphic and have the anamorphic flag in item properties.
B. your sequence settings are SD Anamorphic.
C. Copy your timeline. Select ALL , then remove attributes. Scaling and distortion.Timeline should be good now.

You do have only 6GB of ram.
You could try 4 instances.
But when you say errors, what kind of errors.
We need more info.Do you use ‘send to compressor’?
Or standalone?Maybee your FCS install is corrupted.
Try a reinstall with FCS remover. -
First drag it to the timeline
Then double click and edit font in viewer.Does that work?

Go to Qmaster in System preferences.
Service -> Click on Compressor.
Options for selected services ->> choose All your cores
Start Sharing.Start Compressor.
Create a Job
Hit submit.
Instead of THIS Computer –>> Choose your MacPro Cluster.
