Frack, could you send me a little more info about your system, e.i. version number of Avid Adrenaline, Windows or Mac (Intel or Power PC). This will help us figure out what’s going on here.

September 13, 2007 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Help! Boris FX suddenly disappeared from FCP 5.1.4

John, here’s the long and the short of it. The four bundle files that make up the Boris titling application called Calligraphy rely on the operating system to flag them as bundles instead of folders. In some cases (like when you update FCP or your OS) these bundles are mislabeled as folders, therefore FCP can not “see” them and you loose your titles. The fix for this is simple. Send an email to me at support@borisfx.com and put ATTN Paul in the subject field. I will then email you a link to where you can download a new set of bundles.

Dan, I think I sent you a reply on Monday night but it got rejected. Sometimes our replies with attachments get kicked back to us or sent to a spam folder. I just sent you another email from a different account, please check your email again.

April 27, 2007 at 6:42 pm in reply to: Remove BCC 4.1 trial – how to?

Becker, here is where you will find all the elements of BCC so you can remove it from your system. Delete the items whose name or description appears in “quotations”.

    1. Hard Drive-Applications- “Boris Continuum Complete 4”.

    2. HD-Library-Application Support- “BorisFX” and/or “Boris FX” (you may not have both).

    3. HD-Library-Application Support-Final Cut System Support-Plugins-“every Boris plug-in”. Leave text scrambler, title 3d, title crawl and vector shape there.

  • bluestupa, yes that card is supported for OpenGL but, not for Boris Blue. Here is a link to Blue’s system requirements.

There is a work around for RED, not BCC. If you wish, we can email you a copy of the pdf that explains how to do it. Just email us at support@borisfx.com and request it and we can send it out to you.
